DESCRIPTION This procedure establishes the expectations of how the Board will conduct its meetings and interactions with students, employees, and community members. PROCEDURE DETAILS Civility and Respect Standards for Trustees and Members of the Edmonds College Community: Trustees or speakers before the Board will not engage in behavior which a reasonable person would find embarrassing, offensive, or humiliating. Honest feedback on agenda items can be communicated in a manner that maintains the dignity of the individual yet identifies serious concerns with performance or conduct. Examples of inappropriate behaviors may include but are not limited to:

Individuals giving presentations or making public comments at Trustee meetings shall conform to the Civility and Respect Standards described above.
