AHE 191 - Pharmacy Clinical



1.0 to 8.0 Credits
Provides experience in the role of a pharmacy technician while working with pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians. Gain practical experience in the discipline of pharmacy, enhance skills and integrate knowledge. Registration is permitted first seven weeks as space is available. Prerequisite: AHE 170 , 171 , 172 , 173 , 174 , 175 , all with a minimum grade of 2.5 or equivalent. Completion of AHE 176  within one quarter; completion of or concurrent enrollment in AHE 178 . Permit code required.

  1. Competently and expediently fill prescriptions in any pharmacy setting. [ACT]
  2. Competently manufacture (via aseptic technique) IV admixtures and chemotherapy in a hospital/clinical setting. [ACT]
