FLED 043 - Parenting Education/Parents and Three Year Olds
Maximum of 4.0 possible Credits Parents attend the laboratory class one day a week with their child and evening parent meetings. Class includes parent discussion, observation, and activities with the children. Discussion topics will be chosen in the areas of child development and family life. Registration permitted first seven weeks as space is available. Prerequisite Corequisite
Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Integrate positive rapport with three- to four-year-old children in family life.
- Supervise three- to four-year-old children.
- Adjust personal expectations for three- to four-year-old children.
- Adjust personal parenting style to meet the needs of individual children.
- Recognize individual differences of children and families.
