Definition
  1. A set of instructional content that is approved by the college’s curriculum committee and that is reviewed on a regular basis in order for the content to remain current. [Edmonds College Definition]
  2. A single instructional subject commonly described by title, number, credits, and expected learning outcomes in the college catalog or bulletin. [NWCCU Glossary]
  3. (Instructional Course) A set of specified subject material offered by a college that includes a prescribed set of learning objectives and lessons in an educational curriculum and listed in its catalog of courses, independent of when it will be taught.
