CIS 264 - Active Directory Administration
5.0 Credits Topics include install, configure, troubleshoot, and administer Active Directory. Overview of Active Directory, Active Directory sites, and FSMO roles. Students will configure and manage group policies, permissions and certificate services. Prerequisite: CIS 171 or CIS 266 with minimum GPAs of 2.5 or equivalent experience.
Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Install, troubleshoot, and configure Windows Server forests and domains using Active Directory. [REASON]
- Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server FSMO roles and global catalog. [REASON]
- Plan a group policy management and implementation policy. [REASON]
- Use group policies to configure and troubleshoot a user environment. [REASON]
- Configure Active Directory certificate services. [REASON]
