HORT 247 - Fruit, Nut, and Berry Production I
2.0 Credits Fruit, nut, and berry cropping systems design, layout, and planning as well as plant selection, propagation, planting, and cultivation for sustainable and extended production in the Pacific Northwest.
Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Recognize the most common woody fruit and nut producing plants for personal and commercial use in the Pacific Northwest. [REASON]
- List the origins and cultural requirements for the above plants. [COMMUNICATE]
- Produce a one year management plan for two types of established fruit and/or nut producing woody plants. [REASON]
