MUSC 138A - Chamber Ensemble: Jazz

This course offers students the opportunity to participate in small ensembles, such as jazz combos, classical chamber groups, percussion ensemble, etc. Ensembles are arranged between students and faculty on a quarter by quarter basis. Course may be repeated for credit.
Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs)
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Perform small group repertoire at a beginning/intermediate level demonstrating appropriate style.
- Play with rhythmic and dynamic sensitivity to the other members of the ensemble.
- Demonstrate beginning/intermediate sight-reading skill.
