Development of advanced writing and conversation skills; topics include Arabic history, diglossia, and global cultures. Advanced reading of selected texts, emphasizing the Modern Standard Arabic writing system, formal and informal grammar, and culture. Prerequisite: ARAB 222 or instructor’s permission.
