HORT 174 - Landscape Materials

Selection, use and sizing of materials and plants for landscaping and nursery use. Estimating quantities of materials for typical horticultural applications. Prerequisite: Placement into MATH 080 or higher.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Locate, evaluate and apply information in order to select materials for a variety of landscape and nursery applications. [REASON]
- Analyze landscape plans and specifications to determine materials and quantities required for landscape installation and maintenance. [REASON]
